Improve your “inner game”,

To improve your bottom line…

Why do some small business owners have a constant flow of ideal clients, while others don’t? The answer to this question isn’t what you might think:

  • It’s certainly not that they are more skillful.
  • It’s not that they know all the right people.
  • And it’s not that they’ve got a big list of prospects.

It comes down to how they value themselves.

Reactivating the missing link…

Many of my clients hire me when they’ve run out of clients and are having a hard time getting new business. We reactivate their client database and suddenly the phone begins to ring again. They start getting more clients than they can handle and they are amazed that only a few weeks ago, they couldn’t get anyone to hire them.

What happened? They got back to basics and became re-energized. When you’re full of doubt about your abilities, it always helps to focus in and get a fresh perspective. Coaching offers you the ability to step back and look at things through a different lens. Bouncing ideas off of your coach leads to new thinking, which leads to action and improved results. When this happens, your hope rises and so does your courage.

Your beliefs that your services are valuable and your business exists because of your passion are key in getting you back into positive cash flow. Here are some practical ways to improve your inner game, which will lead to a better bottom line:

5 Practical Ways to Improve Your Inner Game

  1. Make time your most precious asset. Set time boundaries and be selective about when and how you utilize your time. Limit the number of things you want to accomplish in any given day to 7 items or less. Re-prioritize these items each and every day so you are tracking your progress.
  2. Be willing to take risks. This will require you to get to the edge of your comfort zone in order to push yourself to the next level. That’s how you will expand your talents and become a better businessperson. What follows will be more income, better opportunities, and classier clients! This is about building prosperity from the inside out. It is time to make your shine!
  3. Keep swinging for the fences. In baseball, the guy who has the most homeruns usually also strikes out the most. The worse thing you can do is go inactive and stop swinging for the fences. You need to make the most of what you can do from where you are. It’s the only way to succeed.
  4. It’s the little things you do that will eventually lead to a bigger payoff. Keep plugging away each and every day. Utilize coaching as a way to express yourself and bounce ideas around. Concentrate on implementing incremental steps and they will begin to lead to larger payoffs.
  5. Be thankful for the income you receive. You earned it, so it’s sacred. Use it wisely to grow your business and improve your lifestyle.
